Osmosis membranes consist of multiple layers wound on a perforated mandrel located inside. Contaminated water is forced under pressure to the surface of the membrane, where water particles pass through microscopic pores.

The osmosis membrane retains 96% – 99% of organic and inorganic impurities, heavy metals and some bacteria and viruses dissolved in water, not smaller than 0.001 µm. The pollutants are separated and discarded to the drain. Perfectly cleaned water flows through the holes to the central spindle and flows out of the diaphragm under pressure.
